August is done!!! Time to donate the savings!

So here is the breakdown:

Total miles rode in August:  229.98 miles  (as per My Tracks-2011-August)

Current Diesel Fuel price at my local Turkey Hill:  $4.06 a gallon

My savings per mile:  .31 cents  ($4.06 gallon divided by 13mpg)

Total savings:  $71.30  (229.98 miles times .31 cents a mile)

$71.30 divide by 2 = $35.65 per charity.

I will be mailing a check to both charities for $35.65 each.
